6 Activities For Summer
In this article, you will learn about 6 Activities for summer.
Summer causes a severe drought of fun. Kids are cooped up in their rooms playing video games or watching movies to pass time. Don’t be disheartened because I’ve got six summer activities to keep boredom away.
6 Activities For Summer are as follows:
1. Water-gun tag
This clever twist on a classic is pretty self-explanatory: Have everyone don bathing suits and play tag. Whoever is “It” gets the water gun and tries to tag the other players with a cold squirt! Select one player to be “It”. Give “It” the water gun, and on “Go” have him try to tag the other players by squirting them. Whoever gets tagged becomes frozen until another player crawls between their legs.
2. Water Gun Capture the Flag
You’ll need a water gun for each player and two water balloons. Divide players into two teams. Each team must defend a water balloon (instead of a flag) while trying to capture (and burst) the other team’s water balloon. Tag the other team members by squirting them to “freeze” them. Want to release a frozen teammate? Squirt them and they will “thaw” and be ready to continue playing. This game is really fun and is an awesome way to burn some calories too.
Give each of your kids two buckets—one filled with water and one empty—and a sponge. Instruct them to transfer the water from one bucket to the other using only the sponge. Whoever does it the fastest gets the first choice of ice-pops. Solo kids can also play by racing against the clock. This is an awesome way to stay wet and yet not wet enough so you won’t fall sick or even have to worry about drying yourself off.
Picnics are a great way for families to create lasting summer memories together, but to parents who are trying to get some work done, they sometimes can seem like a complicated expenditure of time, best saved for special occasions.
However, picnics with kids don’t need to be elaborate. In fact, a simple picnic can be just as much fun as one that took hours to prepare. Don’t forget to have the kids fill a bottle for a drink or maybe even make batch of this fresh lemonade. Throw in some fruit and veggies and a bag of chips. And you’re ready to go.
If your kids are too little to pack their own, have them help with something simpler like putting veggies in a bag or adding items to the picnic basket. And each time you take a picnic give them a slightly more difficult task, so they can learn to help.
5. Frozen T-shirt challenge
Soak a bunch of t-shirts in water, place them in plastic bags, and then stick them in the freezer overnight. The next day, hold a race to see who can “defrost” and pull on a frozen t-shirt the quickest. This is a great choice to play on a sweltering day–you’ll want to keep the chilly t-shirt on even after the race is over! Make sure it’s super-hot and also dry yourselves well or you’ll fall sick.
6. Inflatable pool time
Water fascinates children, especially if you let them drench themselves in it. On the one hand, it is a soothing pass-time for summer, while on the other it ensures your energetic, curious toddler is occupied.
An inflatable pool is about a meter in diameter or less and can fit into your bathroom. This will ensure you have minimal cleaning trouble. You can also fill the little pool with various child-friendly objects like a ball, toys, spoons, dried leaves, etc. You can add bath bubbles to make it a more interesting experience for your child. This is simple yet diverse, a little creative thought and you could play innumerable games with it.

Excellent blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring
writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that
I’m totally confused .. Any suggestions? Bless you!
Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and
Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems
different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
