CMPS Parent’s Survey 2026: Key Results and Insights
A Shared Commitment to Every Child
The Cambridge Montessori Parent’s Feedback Survey 2026 seeks to reflect the trust and confidence that parents place in CMPS and the importance of strengthening the partnership that parents have with the preschool. The 2026 survey was launched on 11 September 2026, and received more than 7,757 responses from parents across the preschool chain in India. These responses shed light upon the value placed by the parents upon their child’s preschool experience, safety, learning, communication and relationships with teachers, and how the child develops in the preschool environment.
The goal behind the survey is to be more sensitive to the learning demands of children and parents and to make sure that students are best able to gain from the preschool environment. Cambridge Montessori Preschool values the relationship between the parents and educators and believes that children are nurtured and developed best when parents and schools work together. This parents survey seeks to serve as an outlet of expression for parents to share what works and where more attention could improve results.
The following responses were evaluated as a part of the survey:
- My child enjoys coming to school.
- My child is safe at school.
- Children’s views are listened to.
- My child is encouraged to work hard and do their best.
- The school communicates with me effectively about my child’s progress.
- To what extent are you satisfied with the academic performance of your child at school.
- The school is well led and managed.
- My child’s teacher is approachable.
- Teaching and non-teaching staff represent professional behaviour.

The possible responses to these observations were “strongly agree”, “agree”, “neutral”, “disagree” and “strongly disagree”.
Children’s Happiness and Safety Come First
Most parents were very happy about their child’s day-to-day experiences. When asked whether their child enjoys coming to school, 57.3% strongly agreed and 36.6% agreed. That indicates that 93.9% of the parents recorded their responses in agreement. With regards to safety, 63.2% parents strongly agreed that their child is safe at school, while 34.9% were in agreement. A combined 98.1% parents were in agreement regarding their child’s safety at school. These findings matter for parents because only a child who is safe and happy at school is suited to learn, explore and build relationships at home. The survey results indicate that families are happy and feel safe in confidently sending their children to Cambridge Montessori Preschools in India.
Children’s Voices, Effort and Academic Progress
The third and fourth questions asked whether children’s views are listened to and whether they are encouraged to work hard and do their best. 42.3% parents strongly agreed that their children’s views were being heard, while 50.7% were in agreement – leading to a combined 93% parents in agreement with the question. When parents were asked whether children are encouraged to do their best, 47.8% strongly agreed and 44.8% agreed, leading to a total of 92.6% agreeing in response.
These results indicate the level of child-centricity embodied by the preschools: children must feel comfortable in expressing themselves, asking questions, making choices and building their confidence. Parents were also happy with their child’s academic performance: 44.9% reported that they were strongly satisfied with their child’s academic performance, while 46.1% agreed. This implied a 91.0% combined agreement about their child’s academic performance.
For most families, academic progress matters and is a reflection of the child’s budding curiosity, confidence and wellbeing.
Communication and Relationships with Educators
Effective communication with the preschool lets parents know what their child is learning and how they can support learning at home. When asked whether the school communicates with the parent effectively about the child’s progress, 49.9% strongly agreed and 41.5% agreed. When asked whether the school communicates with the parent effectively about school events and activities, 56.9% strongly agreed and 39.4% agreed.
Reponses were also mostly positive when parents were asked about the relationships with teachers and staff. When asked whether the child’s teacher is approachable, a total of 59.7% parents strongly agreed while 37.2% agreed. When asked whether their views and concerns were listened to, 51.1% strongly agreed and 43.6% agreed.
This establishes the existence of a strong two-way partnership between parents and teachers which ensures the child’s development even when he or she is at home.
Confidence in School Leadership and Professional Conduct
When asked whether the school was well led and managed, 51.7% of the parents strongly agreed while 42.8% agreed, reaching a total 94.5% combined agreement. The survey also asked whether their teaching and non-teaching staff represented professional behaviour – 54.5% of the parents strongly agree while 41.0% agree.
Parents should feel confident about the conduct of the schools’ professionals, as they represent the school’s ideals and support children.
Parent Workshops and Continued Improvement
The survey also asked whether regular international workshops and seminars are helping parents in nurturing the child – 34.1% of the parents strongly agreed while 43.2% agreed. This led to a total 77.3% combined agreement. It should be noted that 18.1% of parents were neutral while 3.9% disagreed.
This relatively high number offers a useful point for reflection. Workshops are important to encourage learning, routines, independence and development at home, and Cambridge Montessori Preschool and Daycare remains committed to having more workshops in line with the parents’ wishes.
